A peacock is a bird, and who knows, it may very well taste like chicken, if you cook it. Why would you cook it though when it is much better left alone to please your eyes? No, it is the fate of chickens to be cooked and eaten. Poor, cute, humble chickens, who spend their lives feeding us their eggs; the stewing pot is their destiny, just because they didn’t dress in fancy enough feathers to entertain us as pets. This chicken has figured it out.
